RESERVATION POLICIES  

Rates: all rates are quoted in US $ Dollars

**Taxes and Governmental Fees: The room rate and daily service charge are subject to governmentally imposed fees and taxes. (12% IVA, 10% Inguat) and your rate excludes all taxes, service charges and applicable extra fees.

Children and Rooms: due to the nature of “the Palacio” and its artwork only well behaved children are welcome; Children under 12 must be supervised; Nanny service available for US$ 10 per hour (minimum 4 hours)

Deposit Information: A deposit of the first night's room rate and tax will be taken at the time your reservation is made.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 7 days will be charged the full amount of the room/package rate, tax and 10% daily service charge (if applicable). 

Holy week and New Year Reservations: A minimum night requirement for reservations made in Eastern (Holy Weak) or New Year is required. Also, special rates apply. If booked with a minimum night requirement or as a holiday package, you will be charged the full length of your reservation.
Consult with our reservations department. We are happy to assist you with dining reservations, recreational activities as well as directions to the many destinations around Guatemala.

Group Reservations: Additional policies apply. Contact the Hotel reservations team for more information.
Failure to show on the first night of stay will cause cancellation of all activities and dining reservations for the entire stay.

Group Cancellation Policies: If your reservation consists of 3 or more rooms your reservation will be treated as a group reservation, and different cancellations policies apply. Please consult with our reservations department for policies. (Group reservation usually 30 days in advance cancellation policy)

Early Check-In Policy: Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. If you arrive prior to 3:00 p.m., you may check your luggage with the Desk and enjoy the gardens or the hotel facilities until your room becomes available. If you need to delay your departure, please contact the front desk.
If a room should become available at an early hour, and you wish to check into the room, 25% of the rate with tax and service charges will be charged.

Early Departure Policy: Your deposit will be forfeited should you check out prior to your scheduled departure date.

Ice chests, coolers and Food: It is forbidden to take coolers or other items resembling this type of apparatus into the rooms. If you have special requirements please let us know in advance so we can make special arrangements.

Safety Deposit Boxes: The Hotel has safes in the rooms.

Airport Transportation: The Palacio de Dona  Leonor  can arrange airport shuttle service from La Aurora Airport in Guatemala City to Antigua for a charge with advanced reservations.

Pets and Animals: The hotel does not allow pets or any other types or animals.

Roll-away Beds: We do not offer roll-away beds.

Room Service: There is room service available until 9.00 P.M.

Sound Regulations: To maintain harmony among our guest we request that you keep radios or other devises to a minimum sound.

Parking: The Hotel offers “Valet” Parking for US$10.00 per night to park your car. We do not have our own parking facilities.

Laundry: The Hotel has laundry service on site.  If you require dry cleaning let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for you.
